About ALESM

Founded by Moroccan researchers, ALESM promotes scientific and socio-cultural initiatives in Arabic language engineering: training, R&D projects, software development, consulting, and scientific events.

Three categories of members and annual fees.

Active Members

Faculty, researchers, or graduate students working in Arabic language engineering. Evidence of activity and annual dues required.

Honorary Members

Individuals who significantly contribute to the association’s outreach. No voting or representative capacity.

Corresponding Members

Researchers in the field (Moroccan or foreign, in Morocco or abroad) collaborating with ALESM.

Fees: 100 MAD per faculty; 50 MAD per student researcher. Pay by March 31 each year. Late payments may lead to temporary suspension.

Elected Board of seven members for a four-year term.

General Assembly

The General Assembly meets annually; extraordinary sessions may be called. The Board implements GA decisions and reports results at term end.
